JFB first immersed himself with turntables in 1996, playing Jungle/drum&bass on pirate radios. Since then he has obtained the title of UK DMC Champion 2007 & Vestax Champion 2003. Having the experience of playing Drum&Bass, Dubstep, Breakbeat, & all kinds of Hip-hop in various venues, huge, big & small round the world. JFB knows how to make a crowd go mental whilst bringing a highly skilled element of turntabalisim and dance floor vibe & keeping the crowd dancing.

As well as this JFB also does scratch show's showing off his battle routines and video scratching. JFB has played with nearly every underground artist under the sun over the years, which has helped him develop a broader style always trying to bring something new and innovitive to the crowds.

With lots of experiance scratching with musicians in bands, touring festivals & doing all kinds of gigs, JFB has a lot of musicality and variation with his djing, scratching & music production. Having early releases on Hospital records, oneye, cookshop JFB is producing Dubstep, Drum&bass & Breakbeat with regular releases on the popular Dubstep label 'Sludge Records' working closley with DJ Deekline, Ed solo, Darrison & Beardyman.
Beardyman and JFB also run one of the most groundbreaking nights on the planet: Battlejam, using a ridiculous amount of equipment they create improvised music on the spot using samples from the crowd and guest musicians. JFB can record anything on the spot and instantly scratch it, the most basic but effective example is Beardyman beatboxing and JFB recording then beat juggling as Beardy layers it with something else.

As well as beardy using loads of looping machines JFB can also sample musicians in many different ways and battle them on the spot as well as beardy doing so too. Also having video scratching to hand and a film crew, they can now film members of the crowd and instantly video scratch it back as well as making video scratch routines, fake commercials etc.
